Silence in the Dark by Patricia -- I have read all four books in this series and LOVED them all! Of course, this is a book which deals with Christian issues BUT IS NOT PREACHY. A good read for anyone looking for romance and adventure and action packed pages. The other reviewers have posted what I would have said. We have a young woman who is following God's calling for her to be a missionary. We have a young man who is not certain what his place is in life. They know they love each other. He has not found his walk with God. He doesn't want a wife who is a missionary. She cannot deny her calling to do this. They are trying to help a little 4 year old, sweet Mexican girl who's future is in their hands. Add into this scenario a drug cartel in Mexico who are after them. Add in a couple of bombings. Is the Mexican Police helping them or working against them? Who wants our heroine dead & why? Five stars for me for this series. Hope to see more books like this. This book was very good. Hard to put it down. Well written and worth purchasing. Looking forward to more books by this author.
The writer had a good story to tell and kept the action moving. This was the last book in this series. I would recommend that you read them all in order.
Once again I was drawn in with the characters and felt like I knew them. This book is a great read that is hard to put down. I'm looking forward to another Patricia Bradley book.
I like this author and have enjoyed many of her other books but I couldn't get beyond the first 80 pages of this one. It is simply underdeveloped and oh so slow. . . . Wish I hadn't made the purchase based on other reviews.
This story is enjoyable to read. It is inspiring and has many elements to it. It has a strong storyline and strong characters with mystery, intrigue, tenacity, faith, and many twists and turns. It keeps you guessing until the end.
I loved all of Pat Bradley's Logan Point books. This one was especially good because it had an international flair, with a lot more at stake. Pat is a great writer with characters that come alive and draw the reader in. I also love how we get to keep up with all of the other characters in Logan Point that we met in earlier books.
Missionaries and jealous bad guys are all too common adversaries. Didn't appreciate one of the bad guys, who is a dangerous conman constantly called the priest instead of the phony priest, since real Catholic priests and sisters were in Mexico before Protestant pastors. Christian Romance Mysteries are a first for me and I enjoy the religious injections in the plot, but this fourth in Series was far too syrupy with the romance of the tripartite. Descriptions like tingling, heated necks, and palpitations made it sound like a young adult romance novel.
